In order to ensure the correct management of the JP activities and to permit the fluent circulation of information among the partners and a quick individuation and solution of problems a highly coordinated management structure is defined.
The management structure is articulated as follows:
• a Joint Programme Coordinator (JPC)
• a Management Board (MB) consisting of the JPC and 6 sub-Programme Coordinators (SPC) and
• a Steering Committee (SC), which is the decision making body.
The MB is responsible for overall management and communication with the EERA and other relevant stakeholders and for steering and monitoring research progress. The JP SC decides on the admission of new partners, the integration of new research topics and the strategic positioning of the research framework.
